I’ve tried to step away.
To somehow erase  what I’ve felt –
for what seems an eternity
But I only seem to fall harder
And harder and then some…

So, I paint myself black and blue
Indulge on my sweet trauma’s.
Maybe then you’d push away too-
Break the addiction thats taken me hostage
Break the person we’ve come to know.

It’d be silly to let us continue on
I’ll only ever hurt you
But, I’d like to love you-
Someday.
Different from now.
Better hopefully
